Hosny has 31 years of extensive & proven experience professional in a wide range of industries including Petrochemicals, Oil and gas upstream as well the mining & metal industry. Possessing widespread knowledge, professions and leadership competencies for implementing industries' best practices of Physical Asset Management, Maintenance, and Reliability Engineering processes. Hosny is the CEO of Rex Pro Company “Reliability & Asset Management Consultant” (Egypt). For the last 6 years, he worked as Mine & Refinery Reliability Manager at Ma’aden Aluminum in Saudi Arabia leading the Implementation of Reliability Excellence (Rex) core operating standards. For this role, Hosny was accountable for Reliability Engineering, PAM, Asset Integrity and Maintenance Planning business processes to support the goals of Ma’aden operations., Prior to his current role as Digital Transformation Manager with Ma’aden he has worked with Borouge Petrochemical Company (UAE) as a Technical Service Manager for 13 years, Equate Petrochemical Company (Kuwait), and General Petroleum Company (Egypt) as a Maintenance Engineer.

Eng. Hosny is a Certified Maintenance and reliability Professional (CMRP) and certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) as well Certified Reliability Leader (CRL). He is approved SMRPCO & WPiAM Proctor certified through The Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals & World Partner in Asset Management, Eng. Hosny is Rex Pro's Founder and president.

Mr. Hosny is an active member of SMRP, GSMR, ASQ, IAM and PMI, in 1992 He completed his B.Sc. in Mechanical Power Engineering, Mr. Hosny has a Mechanical Engineer consultant degree from the Saudi Council Of Engineers.
