Best Practices & Excellence in Plant Commissioning & Start-Up course is a four-day training program designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the critical aspects of commissioning and start-up processes in plant operations.
On Day 1, Trainees will be introduced to the fundamentals of plant commissioning and start-up, including the definition and importance of these processes, the roles and responsibilities of commissioning and start-up team members, and the risks associated with poor commissioning and start-up practices. They will also learn about commissioning plans and procedures and how to develop effective strategies for mitigating potential risks.
Day 2 will focus on commissioning preparation and planning. Participants will learn about commissioning and start-up team selection and training, documentation development, and equipment, tools, and instrumentation considerations. They will also gain an understanding of commissioning safety and environmental considerations.
On Day 3, Trainees will learn about start-up procedures and checklists, testing and verification of plant systems and equipment, operator training and qualification, and operational readiness assessment. They will also learn about start-up and handover documentation, which is critical for ensuring the smooth transition from commissioning to regular plant operations.
The final day of the course will cover plant commissioning and start-up best practices, including project management and scheduling, quality control and assurance, lessons learned from successful and unsuccessful commissioning and start-up projects, and emerging trends and innovations in commissioning and start-up practices.

On successful completion of this training course, BK’s Certificate with eligible Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE), will be awarded to the delegates , one CPE credit is granted per 50 minutes of attendance.
