First aid refers to the emergency or immediate care you should provide when a person is injured or ill until full medical treatment is available. In this course attendees are taught a mixture of both practical and theory. They will learn how to examine a casualty, use a defibrillator, familiarize yourself with basic life support and learn how to control bleeding and trauma.
This 1-day B. Khebra’s First Aid course is specifically designed for those individuals working or intending to work in humanitarian operations overseas in often remote and dangerous environments where immediate high levels of care are not always available. This course is intended as a specialized occupational course for the individual requiring a good understanding of pre-hospital care and the implications of an isolated environment with limited equipment for extended periods of time. Emphasis is placed on participants achieving a high level of understanding and realistic practical scenarios.

On successful completion of this training course, BK’s Certificate with eligible Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE), will be awarded to the delegates , one CPE credit is granted per 50 minutes of attendance.
